Hudy’s Cafe & The Li’l Bar

  • 8:45 pm

Hudy’s Cafe & The Li’l Bar is a family-run restaurant that has been serving the Champlin community for over 20 years. The establishment is well known by the locals for the warm, welcoming atmosphere that greets them at any time of day. The cafe is open Tuesday-Saturday and offers a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. In addition to the cafe, Hudy’s also has a bar area that is perfect for grabbing a drink with friends or watching a game. Here is a closer look at what Hudy’s has to offer.

The History

Hudy’s Cafe was founded in 1999 by Melissa Hudy, who wanted to create a restaurant that felt like home. Since then, Hudy’s has become a staple of the Champlin community, known for its delicious food and friendly staff. Recently, Melissa decided to expand her business and opened The Li’l Bar next door to the cafe. The bar has quickly become a popular spot for locals, thanks to its great selection of drinks.

The Food

Hudy’s menu offers something for everyone, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options available. The breakfast menu features items like biscuits and gravy, French toast, and pancakes. Want to go out for lunch or dinner? Choose from sandwiches like the Grilled Apple Fritter Chicken or Minnesota Burger, or make it light with a Chicken Buffalo Salad. When in doubt, just ask your server what their favorite is! No matter what time of day you visit Hudy’s, you’re sure to find something to your taste.

The Atmosphere

One of the things that makes Hudy’s so special is the atmosphere. As soon as you walk in the door, you feel like part of the family. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they make an effort to get to know each of their customers by name. This family-run feel is one of the things that sets Hudy’s apart from other cafes in the area.

The Li’l Bar

In addition to the cafe area, Hudy’s also has a bar called The Li’l Bar. This is the perfect spot to meet up with friends for a drink or two. The bar offers a variety of beer on tap, as well as cocktails and wine. And if you’re looking for something a little different, be sure to try one of The Li’l Bar’s signature espresso martinis or cocktails. Be prepared to be amazed!
