Fired Up Studios is a community ceramic studio in Golden Valley, Minnesota. It was built to give clay artists and potters of all skill levels the opportunity to develop their talents while being encouraged. They provide a variety of services including a retail gallery, ceramics lessons, and membership options.

At Fired Up Studios, we offer clay classes on Friday evenings, Saturday afternoons, and Sunday afternoons. The class sizes are small to create a more intimate environment and because of this space is limited so make sure you sign up soon! If you’re thinking of arranging a Clay Date, especially if it’s for a large group, you should prepare far ahead of time. Because of the overwhelming demand for their classes, they have decided to add a Wednesday morning class starting in September. They anticipate the new class will fill up quickly, as all evening classes are already full until the end of 2022. There is currently a waiting list for new studio members, so it may be wise to send an email to them or call to be put on the waiting list. They will call you when a space becomes available so make sure you include your phone number if you reach out.

At Fired Up Studios, we offer different programs for visitors. Ask the Potter is a program designed for our current members who are looking for instruction beyond Beginning Pottery classes or just have a one-off question. Twice a month, they have an instructor available to members for feedback, critique, demonstrations, or whatever pottery help they are looking for. The program is free of charge for both firing and studio members; however, non-members cannot participate in this activity.
