Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts is a nonprofit organization found in Minneapolis, MN. Located at 2213 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55404, the studio offers a nationally recognized glass curriculum, programming for children and youth, and corporate group experiences. In addition to classes and workshops, Foci also offers an art gallery where visitors can buy works of glass art. Founded by a group of glass artists, Foci is an excellent place to learn about glass arts, share ideas, and make new friends.

The Center for Glass Arts Minneapolis MN is the only public glass studio in Minnesota. Its educational programs and facilities attract many visitors each year. There are classes, workshops, demonstrations, and events aimed at all ages. The center also hosts visiting artist workshops and demonstrations.

The Minneapolis Institute of Art is a must-visit museum in the city. Its permanent and temporary exhibition galleries offer a broad view of world art. The American Swedish Institute features a rotating exhibit. It is housed in a Turnblad mansion, which was the first building on the National Register of Historic Places. At the Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts, visitors are inspired by demonstrations and discovery.

While at Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts, visitors can take in the Vikings NFL team history exhibition, or explore the art and history of the city. The museum is also home to a restaurant that serves contemporary Nordic food. The building was designed by Franco-American architect Emmanuel Louis Masqueray and was constructed in 1929. This museum is also located near Bde Maka Ska, which is an authentic Medieval mansion.

The studio offers a variety of educational activities for young people interested in art. Kids can take classes in glass blowing, or learn more about glass-making. Children need to be at least nine years old to participate in the class, but they can attend if they are accompanied by a parent. During the summer, the studio is open to the public, so families can take their kids and learn more about glass.

The Guthrie Theater is a multi-use venue that promotes professional training and the arts. The theater’s stage and three-level auditoriums are available for performances throughout the year. A bar, catering services, and a balcony are available for guests. The venue also offers private events for corporate and social gatherings.
